"...and surrender to your darkest dreams
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've never lived before..."
Erik singing "The Music Of The Night" to Christine. She's about two meters on the left, that's why you don't see her...
I couldn't watch POTO on Sunday, so instead I drew something Phantom-ish...
My reference for the pose: 's [link]

One or two fingers seem to be broken on my picture though, but otherwise I think it's alright...
The clothing is a mixture of *Cobweb-stock's original clothes (bit of the cloak), of the Hungarian POTO production (scarf and vest - yes, it's violet-colored), and of the full, black satin mask from Leroux's novel. And although you can't see it on this very picture, but he's wearing leather-trousers...:

You can take a look at the Hungarian costume(s) here: [link] This was taken at the premier of POTO in Hungary. From left to right: costume designer Nelly Vágó, Zoltán Miller - Raoul, Sándor Sasvári - Phantom. Then whoa...lookie who's there!!! And I've seen him live that night: Andrew Lloyd Webber. Then you can see Andrea Mahó - Christine. The girl who's half in the picture on the right side - Renáta Krassy - plays also Christine. All the others are dancers/choir. (If you'd like to see more pictures let me know!)

I'm so amazed with your artistic abilities. You did such a wonderful job with the shading, and the colors you chose are quite brilliant. Excellent work! Good reference too! He has beautiful hair, doesn't he?
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
